“Nolan and coworker were friendly, polite and helpful. Did a thorough job of spraying arborvitae for bag worms and checked out another tree for us. I’d give them 10 stars!!”

What you’re seeing

Those Branches Did Not Get There Overnight

Limbs brushing the roof every time the wind picks up. A drive you have started ducking under. A canopy grown dense enough that the lawn beneath it gave up. It builds slowly enough that you stop noticing — until something works a shingle loose or a limb comes down in a storm.

Taking the right branches off costs a fraction of repairing what a wrong one brings down with it — and the tree keeps the structure that holds it up.

Worth booking before the next windy week

  • Branches touch or overhang the roof, gutters, or siding
  • The drive, the walk, or a street sign is blocked
  • Limbs are growing toward service lines
  • The canopy is dense enough to shade out the lawn beneath it
  • Deadwood is visible up in the crown
  • A previous crew left stubs or flush cuts behind
  • A young tree is developing two competing leaders
Why the cut matters more than the cutting

The Tree Gets Read Before It Gets Cut

Our arborists are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture, and the assessment is the part of the job that decides everything after it.

Where the cut goes decides everything

A cut in the right place seals and closes. A cut in the wrong place leaves a wound the tree spends years trying to compartmentalize.

Clearance without damage

Branches over the roof, the drive or the service lines can be taken back without stripping the limb that carries the canopy’s weight.

Over-thinning weakens trees

Stripping the interior forces weak, fast regrowth. We take what needs to go and leave the structure that holds the tree up.

Questions

Before You Book

Is trimming the same as pruning?

The words get used interchangeably, and the work overlaps. What matters is that the cuts follow ANSI A300 standards rather than simply shortening whatever is in reach.

How much can be taken off at once?

Less than most people expect. Over-thinning forces weak regrowth, so we remove what needs to go and leave the branch structure that carries the canopy.

Do you trim shrubs and hedges as well?

Yes — though for individual plants we prune rather than shear. Shearing only clips new growth and lets the plant outgrow its space; pruning removes older growth alongside new shoots and keeps the natural habit.

Who does the work?
